Helping families succeed from day one!
tiny-k Early Intervention receives Federal Funding through the Part C IDEA grant and through Categorical Aid offered by the Department of Education. tiny-k also receives state funds through the state Part C IDEA grant and through state Categorical Aid. These funding sources provide enough money to cover staff salaries and benefits. All remaining expenses (capital equipment such as computers, office supplies such as envelopes and stamps, rent and utilities) must be met with local funding sources ie. local grants and fundraising efforts. Your financial contributions help tiny-k pay for office supplies, update computers, and pay our rent and utilities. Also, tiny-k is required by law to test children’s hearing using an OAE (otoacoustic emissions) machine. These machines cost $6000 each and require maintenance and upkeep of several hundred dollars a year. Your financial contribution will help tiny-k keep testing little ones’ hearing. tiny-k Early Intervention, Douglas County is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and you will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
